October, the Month of Reading
The Reading is awesome! project is part of a larger movement to promote reading across Quebec: the Month of Reading.
Throughout October, reading is celebrated in cultural, educational, and community settings. It's an opportunity to showcase books and bring people together around a common goal: to instill a love of reading in everyone.
Taking place during this month dedicated to promoting reading throughout Quebec, the Reading is awesome! project participates in a vast collective movement that puts books and the pleasure of reading in the foreground.

Quebec
Reading Month is an invitation extended to all citizens, of all ages and backgrounds. Parents, students, teachers, librarians, community workers, and book lovers are all invited to participate. Organizations, institutions, businesses, and groups from all sectors are also encouraged to join the movement.
Reading a little each day, sharing a story, organizing or supporting a reading activity are all simple actions that help make reading more visible and accessible. Together, let's make October a unifying month where reading takes center stage in our lives, schools, workplaces, and communities.
