Our mission

Youth Literacy Quebec is a non-profit organization that makes the joy of reading the driving force behind its commitment. Its mission is to instill in young people a love of reading and to build, from an early age, a positive and lasting connection with books. By facilitating access to reading and strengthening literacy skills, the organization contributes to equal opportunities while supporting educational success, making reading a vibrant, meaningful, and enriching experience.

Our Approach

To achieve this, Youth Literacy Quebec develops inspiring programs, structuring projects, accessible educational tools, and awareness activities for families, schools, and communities. Through a playful approach, accessible to everyone and rooted in the everyday lives of young people, the organization fosters a love of reading, supports the development of reading skills, and guides young people in their learning and academic journey.
